Title of the thesis: Four historically most successful villages in ice hockey in the Podbrdy area. Abstract: This thesis focuses on four most successful villages in ice hockey in the Podbrdy area which are Felbabka, Holoubkov, Neumětely and Podluhy. Main objective was to create reports of individual clubs consisting chapters on ice rinks, biggest achievements, best players, and based on said information compare these clubs. Since the thesis is a historical research, I used analytical- synthetic procedure, and other methods essential for historical analysis. The summary shows that the highest level of ice hockey holds Holoubkov which was the only club to make it into first league, and also the club with the most players playing for the Czech national team. Holoubkov is also the smallest village to ever compete in the highest Czech ice hockey league. Similar primacy belongs to Felbabka which is the smallest village to ever compete in the second highest Czech ice hockey league. Towards the end of my thesis other unique statistics of researched clubs are described.
